Childbirth Services offers complete and comprehensive pre-natal and postpartum care. Our goal is to provide you with the unique support and care you and your baby need to have a healthy and blessed experience. Prenatals are conducted at our Tyler or Gladewater offices, and include the following: |

| Continuing education and childbirth classes are encouraged and provided. Our labor and delivery care is provided by a midwife and her assistant. A midwife will stay for two hours after delivery and return for a 48 to 72 hour checkup. You will also receive a check up at 2 weeks and 6 to 8 weeks at one of our office locations. Counseling in breastfeeding and mandatory lab work will be conducted at the necessary times and visits. The fees for services will be based upon your choice of home birth or use of the birth center. Please note that the fee we quote you will include office visits, a midwife being available at all times, attending your birth, and follow up care from the midwives. Laboratory fees, supplies, extra home visits and sonograms will be an additional charge to your package price. |
